Amelia Young offers intensive, fast track advice, help and tuition for the music theory Grades 1 to 5. Before taking the Grade 6 practical exam on any instrument, it is an examination requirement to pass the Associated Board Grade 5 theory exam.

It is a good idea to start working on the theory grades concurrently with passing Grade 4 on an instrument so that there will not be too long a gap between taking Grades 5 and 6 on your instrument.
